BACK! BRUSH UP YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY!
Confused about what all the buttons on your camera do?
Want to take better photographs?
This series of 8 practical workshops will help you to get to know your camera better & use it creatively.
The first three workshops will be devoted to understanding the "technical" side of photography with lots of demonstrations, explanation and practical exercises.
These will be followed by 5 themed workshops covering different photographic genres including landscape, portraiture, action/sports, still life and macro/abstract. Some of the workshops may be outside at nearby locations if the weather permits.
The workshops are best suited to cameras which allow manual setting of aperture and shutter speed (i.e. DSLR cameras and some bridge cameras)
Bring your camera (with fully charged batteries and a blank memory card), whatever lenses you have, camera manual and tripod (if you have these) and lots of enthusiasm!
Dawn has been a professional wedding and portrait photographer for the past 15 years and now enjoys teaching both photography and digital imaging. Photography has been a lifelong passion and she very much enjoys helping others to explore this fascinating hobby.
She is a member of Dundee Photographic Society where she has been the syllabus secretary for a number of years as well as running the beginner’s classes for the club.
