Lughnasadh Festival

Saturday 3 August, 2-9pm

Forgan Arts Centre and Big Rock Records join forces to bring you a new music and arts festival in the centre’s lush grounds and gardens.

Join us in Newport-on-Tay for an afternoon and evening of art and live acts that represent the depth and breadth of Scottish talent. The line-up is headlined by Edinburgh’s rising star Hamish Hawk, whose new album, A Firmer Hand, is released this summer. Glam-goth rockers, Walt Disco, bring their anthemic queer pop to the festival, joined by paragons of Glasgow’s DIY scene Free Love. The line up is completed by Dundee’s own Theo Bleak and Jutebox as well as Aberdeen based AiiTee. More artists will be announced in the coming weeks.

Music is selected by Newport-on-Tay’s own Big Rock Records and complemented with art interventions curated by Hanifah Sogbanmu.
